ARRIVE IN FRANKFURT, GERMANY
Welcome to Germany! Late this afternoon, we take an orientation tour of Frankfurt including medieval Römerplatz, o/n Frankfurt. |

Day 02
|
FRANKFURT / RHINE CRUISE / COLOGNE
This morning we take a relaxing Rhine cruise from St. Goar to Boppard. Rejoining our coach, we drive past Bonn, Beethoven’s birthplace. Then, continue to Cologne to see its magnificent gothic cathedral, before reaching our hotel, o/n Cologne. |

Day 03

COLOGNE / HAMBURG
Today we drive into Lower Saxony en route to Hamburg, with the chance to take a harbour cruise. Later, an orientation tour includes the inner Alster Lake. We dine in our hotel tonight, o/n Hamburg. |

Day 04
|
HAMBURG / BERLIN
This morning we follow the Elbe valley and cross the former “Iron Curtain” to the historic city of Berlin, o/n Berlin. |

Day 05
|
Berlin: BERLIN SIGHTSEEING AND AT LEISURE
Our sightseeing tour features highlights of both East and West including the Brandenburg Gate, Unter den Linden Boulevard, the German State Opera House and the Reichstag Building. Later, there is time at leisure, o/n Berlin. |

Day 06

BERLIN / DRESDEN
Today we drive to Dresden – known as “Florence on the Elbe.” On arrival, our orientation includes the Opera House and Zwinger Palace. Later, why not take an optional tour to The Treasury and Schloss Moritzburg?, o/n Dresden. |

Day 07
|
DRESDEN / MODLAREUTH / BAYREUTH / NUREMBERG
First to Modlareuth to visit the open-air museum. From here, continue to Bayreuth to see the Wagner Festival Theater. On to Nuremberg with an orientation tour on arrival, which will show us the mighty ramparts, bustling marketplace and St. Sebald’s Cathedral, o/n Nuremberg. |

Day 08

NUREMBERG / ROTHENBURG / MUNICH
After breakfast visit the chocolatebox town of Rothenburg, where we enjoy a walking tour, there is time to shop before we drive to the lively Bavarian capital, Munich, where we see the Olympic Stadium, Ludwigstrasse and Marienplatz, o/n Munich. |

MUNICH AT LEISURE
Today we enjoy a full day at leisure, o/n Munich. |

Day 10
|
MUNICH / DACHAU / DONAUSCHINGEN
Visit to Dachau village where we visit the sobering concentration camp. From here our ascent into the Bavarian Alps brings us to view Neuschwanstein, Mad King Ludwig’s fairytale castle, perched high above the village of Schwangau. Tonight, we dine at our hotel which is situated close to the Black Forest region, o/n Donauschingen. |

Day 11

DONAUSCHINGEN / HEIDELBERG / FRANKFURT
First to elegant Baden-Baden and on to the “Student Prince” city of Heidelberg with its dominant castle and courtyards. Tonight we enjoy a Farewell Dinner together in Frankfurt. |

DEPART FRANKFURT
Post breakfast transfer to the Airport and catch your next flight. |
