Day 02

Breakfast and overnight at hotel. Panoramic regular city tour. We will visit panoramically some of its main
avenues and monumental fountains (Cibeles, Neptuno), as well as the famous and always busy Plaza Mayor
(main square) and old town,. Balance of day to visit by your own Prado Musem, probably the best collection
of classic painters on the world, and the magnificent Royal Palace. |
Day 03

MADRID
Breakfast. High speed train to Valencia (Alaris)
VALENCIA ( arrival in about 3 hrs 30 minutes).
Located in a fertile terrain and with a soft Mediterranean weather, it is surrounded by a rich orchard (its
oranges are famous worldwide) and full of splendid public gardens. It was recovered for the Christian
kingdom in the middle age by the mythic El Cid. In the morning, we suggest to visit its Gothic cathedral,
where the bell tower called ‘Micalet’ is the symbol of the town .La Lonja (XVth exchange market) and the old
market are also very singular. A ‘must’ to be visited the top new architecture project of the Ciudad de Las
Artes y las Ciencias (city of Sciences and Arts).

Day 04

VALENCIA
Breakfast. We suggest follow discovering the city. High speed train to Barcelona (Euromed)

Day 05

BARCELONA
Breakfast and overnight at hotel. Morning classic regular city tour. We will walk to the Gothic Quarter full
of XII to XVIth century buildings, visiting inside the Cathedral. We will visit panoramically the ‘Ensanche’,
quarter built in XIXth century where La Sagrada Familia church and most of the Modernism buildings are.
And of course to walk along the always alive Ramblas street, full of street actors, musicians, painters, …Balance of day to follow discovering the city. |

Remarks:
• All these rates are net per pax in euros.
• The quotation is based on minimum of 2 pax . In case you will have 1 only pax, you would
have to add 60 euros (additional to the supplement single)
• We have considered from 1-4-09/31-10-09, but it is not valid during fairs and congress.

• Train tickets are in high speed trains in tourist class, (it is more than enough). They
are excellent, quick and bring you to the heart of the cities, so you save a lot of time and
money respect to airports.
• This Itinerary could be available with slight modifications with arriva/ departure
• Barcelona-Barcelona, see variation A2.
• If you can arrive at Barcelona and depature from Madrid or vic., you would save
129,30 euros (the train ticket) over rates informed above. |
